The first Day Of Year 5

This year I am in year 5. I feel so excited and grown up. I was pretty nervous as I walked to school with Sarah. We were put with our old class in a small year 1 classroom.

We started be talking about the school rules (respect, responsibility and personal best) and achieving your goals. At lunch and recess we messed around and played. It felt good to be back at school.

After school I had my first flute lesson of the year. "I like playing the flute," I said to my teacher. When i got home i made some chocolate and  banana cake and then relaxed in the pool. I had a fun day and can't wait until tomorrow.

My first post - a Blue Mountains walk

Lately we've been busy. For some people school holidays aren't just sit back and relax. Today we got rid of Jack and drove to the Blue Mountains. The mist was incredible, we couldn't see a thing. Luckily it stared to clear up as we started walking to the to the waterfalls. They were amazing but it was very busy. We finished the walk at 1:00pm and sat down to have some lunch. Before driving home again we drove in to Leura and had a look around. We arrived home tired and exhausted after a long day.
